Marcos Almeida is a seasoned international trust and private client advisor with over 14 years of post-qualification experience. A STEP Registered Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP), Marcos holds an LL.B. and a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Business, and maintains a legal practicing certificate in Brazil. His background reflects a strong foundation in law, business, and cross-border wealth structuring.

Before joining Blake Harris Law, Marcos served as Head of Legal and Client Services at a leading offshore trust services provider operating in the Cook Islands, Nevis, and New Zealand. In this role, he led the firm’s legal strategy, client advisory, and regulatory compliance efforts across multiple jurisdictions. His appointment as Director of two licensed trust companies in New Zealand reflects a deep command of fiduciary governance, legal structuring, and regulatory frameworks.

Marcos has extensive experience advising high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and intermediaries on complex asset protection, wealth planning, and international trust matters. His practical approach is grounded in legal precision and a strong understanding of fiduciary responsibilities, with an emphasis on client-centric solutions.
