This policy explains how Blake Harris Law(“we,” “us,” or “the firm”) handles information collected through this website. It covers the website only. Information you provide after becoming a client is governed by our engagement agreement and by the professional duties of confidentiality and attorney-client privilege, which are broader than this policy.

Information you give us. Our contact form collects your name, email address, phone number, and the message you write. Some forms also ask whether your net worth is above or below a stated threshold, and whether you consent to receive text messages. Our newsletter form collects your email address and, where offered, your name. Our assessment tool collects your name, email address, phone number, and the answers you select.

Information collected automatically.When you visit, we and our service providers may receive your IP address, browser and device characteristics, referring URL, the pages you view, and the campaign parameters in the link you arrived on — including utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content, and advertising click identifiers such as gclid, gbraid, wbraid, fbclid, msclkid, and ttclid.

Calls. Phone numbers shown on this site are handled through a call-tracking service. Calls may be recorded or monitored for quality and record-keeping, and the service records the number you called from, the number displayed to you, and the campaign associated with your visit.

We do not knowingly collect information from children, and this site is not directed to them.

This site stores a small amount of data in your browser. Campaign parameters and click identifiers are saved under the keys bhl:utm:first and bhl:utm:last so that if you return later and contact us, we can tell which campaign introduced you and which one you came back through. If you use the assessment, your answers are held under bhl:quiz:context so the follow-up step can reference them. Dismissing the webinar banner is remembered under bhl:webinar-banner-dismissed.

Our analytics, advertising, call-tracking, and anti-spam providers set their own cookies and identifiers. You can clear this data at any time through your browser’s settings, and you can block cookies, though parts of the site may not work as intended.

We use what you submit to respond to your inquiry, evaluate whether we can help, schedule and conduct consultations, and provide legal services if you engage us. We use campaign and analytics data to understand how people find the site, to measure which advertising works, and to improve the site. If you opt in, we use your email address to send updates and your phone number to send text messages.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing.

We use the following providers to operate this site. Each receives only what it needs, and each has its own privacy policy governing its handling of that data.

• Zoho CRM— stores contact and assessment submissions as client-intake records, including the campaign data described above.
• Mailchimp— manages our email list and sends newsletters to people who subscribe.
• Resend— delivers assessment results by email.
• Google Sheets— receives a backup copy of form submissions so an inquiry is never lost if the CRM is unavailable.
• Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Google Ads — measure site usage and advertising performance.
• Meta— measures advertising performance for campaigns run on its platforms.
• CallTrackingMetrics— provides the tracked phone numbers and call records described above.
• Google reCAPTCHA— distinguishes real visitors from automated abuse on our forms.
• Vercel— hosts the site and serves these pages.
• YouTube— serves embedded videos. We use the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to comply with a subpoena or court order, or to establish or defend legal claims.

You can unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any message. You can stop text messages by replying STOP. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you have submitted, and we will honor that request except where we are required to retain records — for example, where professional obligations or a pending matter require it.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, including rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act. California residents may request to know what personal information we have collected, request deletion, and request correction, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising those rights. To make any request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting.

Most browsers offer a Do Not Track setting and some send a Global Privacy Control signal. Where required by law, we treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a valid opt-out request.

We keep inquiry and client records for as long as needed for the purpose they were collected and for as long as professional and legal obligations require. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page.
